Dogaressa

The Dogaresse wreaked havoc on the Doge's Palace and among the Venetians for their luxurious habits. They washed themselves with perfumed waters; they taught the ladies the use of make-up, their rooms smelled of incense and essences and above all they did not touch the food with their fingers, but had it cut and brought to their mouths by the eunuchs at their service with a kind of golden fork.

This chandelier brings back the charm and luxury of the Dogaresse in a modern key, the gold details and the crystal skilfully created by Murano glass masters give this chandelier the gift of enhancing and making every piece of furniture unique.
